This user script automatically redirects you from Reddit to a privacy-friendly alternative, Redlib. When you click on a Reddit link, for example, from search r###lts on Google or DuckDuckGo, this script will immediately redirect you to the corresponding page on Redlib.
If you're concerned about your privacy and the extensive tracking practices across sites, this script is perfect for you. Redlib allows you to enjoy Reddit's content without compromising your personal data. With Redlib, you avoid cross-site tracking, ensuring a more secure and private browsing experience.
Additionally, Redlib offers a much cleaner and distraction-free visual appearance compared to Reddit. It strips away unnecessary clutter, making your browsing experience more focused and enjoyable. Say goodbye to intrusive ads and overwhelming elements that clutter Reddit’s interface.
Please note that clicking the "reddit" button in the upper right corner will not take you to Reddit. This script is designed to do the opposite - it redirects you from Reddit to Redlib to minimise tracking and analytics by Reddit. I am aware of this limitation, but this script was created specifically to protect your privacy by avoiding Reddit’s extensive tracking. If you need to visit the original Reddit site, you will need to temporarily disable this script.
