Greasy Fork is available in English.
Add custom tags or notes to links such as users, posts and videos. For example, tags can be added to users or posts on a forum, making it easy to identify them or block their posts and replies. It works on X (Twitter), Reddit, Facebook, Threads, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, GitHub, Greasy Fork, Hacker News, pixiv and numerous other websites.
< Feedback on 🏷️ UTags - Add usertags to links
If i click in the page (by example here, in the forum), all links in the pages show the add tags icons.
In fact, this feature is deliberately designed. When you use the userscript on a brand-new website for the first time, it can be quite challenging to tell which links can have tags added and which cannot. Moving the mouse around to find the tag-addable positions can be rather inconvenient. Therefore, we've specially added this feature: when you click on a certain position on the page, the nearby utags buttons will appear, making it much easier for you to add tags.
Should be not the case and show the icon only when you hover the link, no?
Perhaps in the future, I will add an option to turn off this function.
And some links don't need to have a tags system, by example "Markdown" and "Html" buttons.
Originally, these areas should have been excluded. However, due to some major recent changes, some side-effects have emerged. In the future, I will optimize this website again.
Thanks for your feedbacks.
GreasyFork fine tuning: Originally, these areas should have been excluded

🚧 Your ToDo list became fat :-)
All Tags icons visible when click in page: In fact, this feature is deliberately designed
Yep, but very distracting...
For me, i appreciate when things are discreet.
Maybe add , in future, a DEMO feature for that ?
Or just add to the Tag icon an opacity: 0.5 effect for that function.
And give an opacity: 1 when hover a link with Tags capacity.
Anyway, i find how delete these icons where i don't want them....

This is a good approach. I will give it a try.
I added this to the TODO list. https://github.com/utags/utags/issues/31
;-)
I make some tests for Flickr.
Here one which help to know which link could be tagged by adding a little 🏷️ to it.
And when you hover the Add tag, it show the link which is concerned.
Don't take care to the color:
that's just for the test.
:-)
Here a GIF screenshot:
This effect looks quite good. Perhaps it could be set as an experimental feature, allowing users to enable the experimental feature option in the settings to experience it.
:-)
Problem with Greasyfork:
If i click in the page (by example here, in the forum), all links in the pages show the add tags icons.
Should be not the case and show the icon only when you hover the link, no?
A GIF of the "problem":
And some links don't need to have a tags system, by example "Markdown" and "Html" buttons.
