SlackMediaDeletion

TamperMonkey script that deletes user uploaded media files to clear up space for people using Slack for free. Useful for deleting media files when you don't have administrative rights.

Getting Started

  1. Have TamperMonkey or whatever other user script manager loaded in your browser.
  2. Head over to GreasyFork to install the latest version of the script.

Usage

Go to your Slack workspace and navigate to whatever channel you'd like to delete files from. You'll see that a button appears at the top of the page titled, "Delete Media in Channel". Clicking this button will delete any files that are loaded into the message list.

Make sure that you scroll up to load in however many files you'd like to remove from the channel.
