A prompt to confirm returning a HIT to prevent accidental returns.
I'm using this 'clickhappier-archive' account to post archival copies of old MTurk-related userscripts from userscripts-mirror.org (which is itself an archive of the defunct site userscripts.org) and forum posts, which their authors or others haven't re-posted on Greasyfork yet. Some of these may no longer be all that interesting as more recent scripts may do what they do better, but some remain very useful.
This script was archived from this forum post, which was a tweak from this prior one (wasn't posted on userscripts.org).
Author: Kerek and Chet Manley
Script Name: MTurk Confirm Return HIT
Last update 07-03-2014
Script Summary: A prompt to confirm returning a HIT to prevent accidental returns. Added support for returns from 'HITs assigned to you'/queue page.
Version: 0.2
Note from Clickhappier: This was based on Chet Manley's original version https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/2587-mturk-confirm-return-hit , which only worked on the return button on an individual HIT's page - and since Amazon's annoying random change in mid-Oct 2014 from /images/ to /media/ in image URLs, it doesn't work anywhere without that change. Kerek's version has continued to work for me since I started using it the day he made it.
Those who are less cautious about returns may be interested in Magnilucent's https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/5053-hit-return-accept script.
