Modified/Forked from "Ellililunch AO3 Bookmark Maker" (https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/458631). Script is out-of-the-box setup to automatically add title, author, status, summary, and last read date to the description in an "collapsible" section so as to not clutter the bookmark.

Hi there! I'm sorry for taking such a long time to respond but I've been quite busy and didn't have the time or motivation to work on userscripts.
If I'm understanding your request correctly, you want to be able to stop the script from overriding the bookmark when it's not on the summary page or viewing the entire work right? I've just updated the script to v2.12.0 that adds a new setting called Always run script on valid pages to the settings dropdown on your preferences page. If you set that to NO the script will only run when you're on the summary page or you're viewing the entire work.
From the testing I've done the new setting works as intended and I've not noticed any new bugs, so please do let me know if you encounter any.
Hi, Great script! Thanks for it. Just one little thing, I'll love it even more if it wouldn't change de bookmark when you are not in the full work or first chapter. I get it has to be executed on a chapter with summary or it cant find the summary, but I think it'll be better if in those cases the script wouldn't do anything or at least keep the summary as it was already in the bookmark, so you can still bookmark the rest of the work while reading it.
